Summer Dance Camps

Alberta Ballet School is excited to offer summer dance camps for students in Calgary.

Preschool Dance Camps (ages 3-5)

Alberta Ballet School is simply the best dance school for kids! Our half-day preschool dance camps at our dance academy in Calgary include classes in creative movement, visual arts, and jazz dance. During these week-long camps, our dedicated and experienced teachers promote teamwork and structured routine while nurturing students’ creativity, providing a fun and engaging experience for our youngest dancers.

Junior and Senior Dance Camps

Alberta Ballet School’s full-day week-long summer dance camps give students the opportunity to discover different dance styles including ballet, jazz, and modern and engage in fun activities that fuel their creativity and imagination. All camps are taught by our dedicated world-class Alberta Ballet School faculty and all ballet classes have live accompaniment. No experience is necessary for our dance camps; we are excited to provide high-quality training for all ages and ability levels. For added convenience, we offer complimentary before-and-after care from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Edmonton Summer Intensive Program

We are pleased to offer summer intensive dance lessons in Edmonton. Classes may include a combination of Ballet, variation/repertoire, pointe/pre-pointe, modern, jazz, and conditioning. Our experienced faculty will focus on developing students’ strength, technique, and artistry, providing all dancers with the opportunity to advance their skills.

Medicine Hat Summer Intensive Program

Alberta Ballet School is delighted to return to the Medicine Hat Conservatory this summer for southern Alberta dancers to train with us through our in-person Summer Intensive Program in Medicine Hat.

Students will receive training in ballet and jazz/contemporary for more than six hours each day from Alberta Ballet School’s professional instructors. This program will help strengthen and refine each dancer’s skills.
